Welingkar Day!!
Dear fnds
Enough of practice friends for GDPI… now remove the gloves and get ready for the knuckle fight. Welingkar Day is a concept where we will be replicating the complete day Welingkar PG gdpi process. It is always easy to score in the practice GDs and PIs but when it comes to the actual day we all get nervous. Hence, this day you get the same feeling of the Welingkar day, so that you are at ease during the actual GDPI.

1 Replica of actual Welingkar GDPI day so that you feel relaxed on actual day.
2 Telling you what can be asked in Interview based on your Resume submitted.
3 Feedback after every step of the GDPI process
4 Marks after each step of the process, scorecard will be maintained.
5 You will be given marks after each module in the process.
6 Formal dress code for all to give the real feeling.
7 Interact with people who have “BEEN THERE, DONE THAT” (Toppers of CET / Welingkar)

Waiting period - Common Hall
You reach there at allotted time 12:00am and wait for registrations to start. read newspaper or books till they call u for registrations.

You are allotted a batch namely A, B, C, D and floor where your GDPI will be conducted in the batch of 12 – 14 people and score cards will be issued to you so that you can keep a scorecard of your progression in the process.

Meet the Seniors
You will be taken into a common room on the 1st floor. There senior students will be talking you through the different Welingkar programs, namely PG in World Class Management & in Business.
12:30 - 1:30 pm
Group Discussion # 50 marks
A 20 mins GD, with 12-14 people in each group. Topics last year were abstract but this year can be Case study, Group Activity, Group Task. So u will be going through some SURPRISE here. There will be feedback and marks given to individually.
1:30 - 2:00pm
Document Submission / Verification # 50 marks
You have to submit your following documents for verification and evalualtion:
Essays as written in the form for CET # 15 marks
Show your marksheets # 10 marks
Extra Curricular Certificates # 5 marks
Work Ex Certificates / Appointment letter # 20 marks
- Please show us a photocopy avoid brining originals.
BREAK - 1 hour
2:00pm - 3:00pm
3:00 - 3:20 pm
Pchychometric Test # 50 marks
Then there will be the Pchychometric Test. 20 ques 5 mins, pretty easy. can complete in 2-3 mins. Different test for Ex-workshop students.
3:20 - 4:00 pm
Creativity Test # 50 marks
This is a test for only design people and will be based on your creativity in problem solving in given assignment.
4:00 - 6:00 pm
Interviews # 50 marks
10 -12 mins interview Mostly based on the essays in the form u had filled. Guys prepare well for the answers in the form. There will be a individual feedback of interview immediately and we will be telling you what questions can be asked on this.

We are announcing the last batch for the CET 2007. Its your last chance to join the bandwagon and get the benefit of the last CET workshop of 2007..
On request of students we have shortened the workshop to 2 days because students only told they waste lot of time travelling... coming for 2 hrs each day so far. So we are taking 5 hrs each day to complete workshop in 2 days,
This year we have trained this year more then 40 students with 99 percentile plus.

CET Roadmap..
hi all
well i just wanna suggest a roadmap for the ppl regardin CET... how to prepare for it... i know some of you are good getting 130+ marks and ranked among top 10 in IMS / TIME / CL but if u think other way.. u still are not able to tap 70 odd marks... and rest of people are stuck with a score of 100 - 110..
i am suggesting a strategy for people stuck with scores...
Jan 30 - Feb 2 [ plz do this as homework before workshop]
plz go thro the basics of all 55 topics that come in the CET... be it Quant / DI / Verbal, etc.. only do the solved example of the Basic Material u ppl have from ur coaching institutes.. .
i want you to atleast know at the end of 5 days that what is coming n CET and which topics are my strong and weak.. I always rank topics as
5/5 - i always score 100% or 5 outta 5 (like Input/Output, Coding Decoding, etc)
3/5 - Average scoring
1/5 - Low scoring
now by 2nd Feb... u ppl wil be clear abt the topics and seeing a mock u will come to know which topic comes, for what marks, whats my accuracy rate. this will give u speed, as u will be able to accept / reject a question.

plz throw off the topics which cant get right at all ie (1/5 scoring) for eg for me still Strong / Weak argument is a 1/5 topic ;) so plz dont do them... these eleven days are to work on ur strengths ONLY. time has gone for weakness.. now only try to maintain ur 5/5 topics as ur scoring parts.

no mocks / no study nothing in this time... 2 days only analyse your old mocks.. laugh at ur stupid / silly mistakes and revise only basics... i would recommend you should only revise ur mocks... thats more then sufficient..

plz throw off the topics which cant get right at all ie (1/5 scoring) for eg for me still Strong / Weak argument is a 1/5 topic ;) so plz dont do them... these eleven days are to work on ur strengths ONLY. time has gone for weakness.. now only try to maintain ur 5/5 topics as ur scoring parts.

no mocks / no study nothing in this time... 2 days only analyse your old mocks.. laugh at ur stupid / silly mistakes and revise only basics... i would recommend you should only revise ur mocks... thats more then sufficient..
